Conference venue

The Freedom Zone can be found at Austin Court conference centre which features a state-of-the-art 150-seat theatre and a canal-side coffee lounge which also holds 150 people.
Just outside the conference security zone, The Freedom Zone is open to everyone - you don't need a conference pass, although Conservative party delegates and observers will, of course, be very welcome

The canal-side coffee lounge will offer giant wide-screen television coverage of the Conservative party conference throughout the day, with complimentary newspapers and comfortable armchairs for you to relax and meet friends. There will be free wi-fi access and an interview area, with a Taxpayers' Alliance/Global Vision stand, a History Man bookstall.

How to find the venue

Austin Court is right at the hub of Birmingham's attractive and historic Brindley Place canal network. Just off Broad Street, it's a stone’s throw from the International Conference Centre where the 2008 Conservative conference is taking place.
